GIBSON LABS MAX - $1795
Max is a guitar to midi converter / stereo four effect loop routing system / mixer / digital tuner. Features include:
- a programmable stereo four effect loop routing system allowing noiseless switching and a high signal to noise ratio
- a programmable mixer with two guitar inputs / 3 stereo line inputs / four effect returns
- a full function digital tuner with foot controller with real time display
The guitar to midi converter can utilize a wide range of pick-up configurations including magnetic, infrared, piezo, available internally installed or with an external module. The guitar inputs are compatible with Roland's midi guitar outputs (pickup available separately).
There are two independent midi outputs for up to 32 channel capability, and a foot controller allows full system control of Max's functions. Max is 100 patch programmable and programming is via one knob, four buttons, and a alpha/numeric display. Gibson will also have available a special help hotline available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
