On playback, the note on/off commands for the MLC channel are translated into c/v voltages compatable with several brands of dimmer packs. The Sound Chest II is a midi or trigger controlled programmable sound source. Each voice module allows the player to modify the basic sampled drum sounds with programmale volume, tuning, dynamic tuning, filter, and decay. The programming section can record up to 100 patches PER MODULE, these being stored into one of the computer modules ten sixteen step program chains, which can be advanced by using a footswitch or midi.
