The K3 is a revolutionary new synthesizer that combines the best features of both digital and analog synthesis technology. The K3 uses stored digital waveforms, which are actual "pictures" of sound waves of authentzc sounds, such as Piano, Trumpek or Electric Bass. These waveforms serve as fundamental building blochs of each voice. 33 waveforms, representzng a wide variety of acoustzc and electric instruments, are provided for maximum programming flex ibility. Any two waveforms can be assigned to each uoice program, and each sound can be shaped using controls that are familiar to most synthesizer players, such as Filters, Envelope Generators ~ADSR'sJ, and Low Frequency Oscillators (LFO'sJ. The flexibility and programming ease of these analog controls, combined with digital waveforms give the K3 the capability of reproducing realistic natural instruments and unique digital sounds without sacrificing the warm, rich analog sounds missing from other digital synthesizers.

Two user program mable waveforms can be accessed by the K3 at the touch of a button! 32 har monics out of a possible 128 can be selected, and the relatzve intensity of each harmonic can be set from a value of 0 to 31.
