The K-5 is a higher end fully digital polyphonic synthesizer featuring 'real time additive synthesis'. 5 octave 16 voice polyphonic, the K-5 achieves additive synthesis with dual Digital Harmonic Generators with control of 128 harmonics, a digital filter and Amplifier, as well as eleven six stage envelopes (12 parameters per envelope. A formant filter is also included for each voice. The 16 voices are fully multi-timbral: The display is a 64 x 240 lit LCD. Voices can be set to play off a specific key range, specific dynamic velocity range, and the keyboard is both velocity, release velocity, and pressure sensitive.

The K5m (list $1495) is a module (rack capable) version of the K5 synthesizer debuted at the winter NAMM show featuring digital synthesis. Features include 48 single/48 multiple patches, 64 x 240 bitmapped LCD, programming control of 128 harmonics, full multi-timbral midi operation, 16 voice polyphony, 4 assignable outputs + mix, and much more. Sounds can be stored via Ram cards or midi.
