K-MUSE PHOTON GUITAR MIDI SYSTEM

This system employs a infra-red light to read the strings of the guitar or bass. This patented Photon Pick-up links up to a hi-speed pitch converter. The converter uses another patented technology which provides an all digital system. Features include: all digitally controlled filters, 16 bit frequency conversion within one vibration of the string, 8 bit amplitude conversion also within one wave period, a high speed data transmission method called M-NET which is supposed to be 16 times faster than midi, high style guitar & bass. The Photon System software is interchangeable via ROM cartridges for custom applications or updates in the future. Versions to be made available include the standard Photon Guitar System ($1995), the standard Photon Bass System ($1795), the Hyperspeed Photon Guitar (with 6 high E strings) ($1995), bass version of Hyperspeed Guitar ($1795).

The Foot Controller is an accessory for the Photon guitar midi controller. The foot controller allows remote operation of the Photon midi converter. Eight footswitches functions such as transpose - harmonize on/off, pitchbend on/off, midi on/off - tuning, and preset select (using the guitar neck as a switching board while the pedal is depressed). With the foot controller, the user can also select midi preset, arpeggiate on/off, and hold on/off. List $295
