Roland's Sound Modeling (COSM) digital percussion system includes:

The TD-10 percussion sound module features over 600 drum & percussion sounds and 50 melodic instrument sounds, 12 dual trigger inputs, 8 stereo outputs plus monitor mix input, effects processing, built-in sequencer, graphic LCD backlit display, and a wave expansion slot. The 'virtual sound modeling' allows complete control of each instrument, offering parameters such as shell material and depth, head size / type / tuning, muffling, strainer, etc., in effect constructing a drum kit from the ground up. Additional modeling features include microphone type and placement, room size, and much more.

The PD120 & PD100 series V-Pads feature a mesh-head design for use with the V-drums and come in 12 inch (PD120) and 10 inch (PD100) sizes, along with increased sensitivity (including the ability to use brushes). The PD120 includes 2 zones. The TD10 can accept Roland's PD5, PD7, and PD9 pads as well.
