Both the keyboard and the rack come with 2 megabytes of memory for 24 seconds of full bandwidth sounds. The memory is expandable to 8 megabytes for almost 100 seconds of sounds at 44.1K sampling. A SCSI port is provided to connect hard disks for quick access to your sounds.

The ADS features better than C.D. quality circuitry throughout. The ADS has true 16 bit phased locked stereo sampling, 24 bit internal processing, and 20 bit double oversampled digital filters (88.2 K sample rate) on all 8 outputs for added dynamic range and clarity. Real time monitoring of the sound through the ADS's analog to digital convertor lets you known how your samples will sound even before you sample. The ADS supports MIDI sample dump and all the latest MIDI advancements.
