LITTLE BROTHER The ARP Little Brother allows the owner of any ARP Synthesizer equipped with "System Interface" jacks to greatly expand the musical capabilities of his ARP synthesizer. The Little Brother hooks up quickiy to an ARP synthesizer using four standard patch cords. The Little Brother includes a very flex ible waveform generator and a separate Low Frequency Oscillator for vibrato and other purposes. When used with a single oscillator synthesizer like the ARP AXXE Little Brother more than doubles the tone generating capabilities of the synthesizer. It makes possible the creation of string orchestra sounds, brass choruses, heavy organ sounds, and many other multi oscillator effects. When used with multi voice synthesizers like the ARP Odyssey or ARP 2600, Little Brother makes it possible to produce several instrumental sounds at once. Waveforms and Pitch Ranges are selected by two sets of four fast-action tab switches. And, a number of Pitch Ranges and Waveforrns can be selected simultcneously.

Filter effect controls on the panel include LF~ Speed, vibrato Depth, and Vibrato Delay. A front panel Volume control allo ws perfect balance of Little Brothel-'s output with other synthesizers. The Pitch Bend control lets you ''bend" notes as on most ARP synthesizers. It also provides an easy way to tune Little Brother to any fixed interval above or below the pitch of the synthesizer. A separate tune control on the panel is used to bring Little Brother precisely in tune. Little Brother has a total of nine input and output jacks on the rear panel for interfacing with ARP synthesizers or other Little Brothers. It is possible to "stack" Little Brothers to create increasingly rich musical textures.
