The DE 4X9 is a 2 space rack mount synthesizer module designed in West Germany. A primarily additive synthesis instrument utilizing a phase modulation tone generator, the DE 4X9 features 495 internal sounds (198 programmable), 64 performance presets, 4 independent sound blocks - each with 9 voices and free assignment to individual midi channels, 36 note polyphony, fully multi-timbral with dynamic voice allocation, envelope / key and level scaling, simultaneous use of the 4 or 8 tone generators for each voice for up to 144 overall tone generators, 122 parameters for each preset, 6 polyphonic outputs, 32 character backlit display, built in chorus, and 2 midi in / 2 midi thru / 1 midi out.

The P92 midi master controller offers a 92 note weighted piano style action (yup, 92 notes). Features include 128 performance presets, 3 programmable split points, 4 sections per split - each section is capable of 4 layers, programmable sensitivity per section, master clock generator, 31 character backlit display, overall or sectional key transpose, full velocity and aftertouch curve adjustments, programmable pitch bend / modulation / 4 control sliders / 2 foot switch jacks, control of 32 midi output channels, and 2 midi out / 1 midi in. A smaller version (P61) has all features of the P92 but with 61 keys (list $1995). Another noteable midi product shown was a 30 note polyphonic midi pedalboard with velocity sensitivity (list $995).
