The definitive MIDI performance device. The Oberheim Cyclone organizes a variety of powerful features and user defined parameters into 16 ROM and 16 RAM programs. Cyclone transforms even the simplest keyboard' part into anything from a delicate shower of notes to a multi-keyboard pyrotechnic extravaganza.

Reaching beyond the limits of traditional arpeggiators, Cyclone allows for single notes or chords to be arpeggiated from an internal clock, MIDI clock, a "Tapped Tempo" from a footswitch, or from a pre-recorded rhythm. Cyclone's internal "Zoning" and Record /Buffer permit one, two or three arpeggios to play simultaneously.

Arpeggiated patterns can cloned, transposed, repeated, inverted, as well echoed on a different MIDI Channel. Interactive, real time control of pitch and rhythm data is available independently through MIDI Velocity, MIDI Clock, and MIDI Aftertouch and from eight assignable (four internal and four MIDI) footswitch jacks.
