Featuring all the essential 'hands-on' synthesizer parameter controls, DARKSTAR is housed in the familiar FEDERATION BPM FX desktop style case with an optional 19" rack kit available for studio applications. Designing-in an upgrade/conversion path was fundamental to the DARKSTAR project and to this end, user-fit EPROM conversion kits will be available from early next year. Priced at $29.99 each, the first two conversion kits will transform DARKSTAR into a mega-mono synth (including selectable ëacidí style filters) and a fully featured Vocoder.
