The Choice is Yours

E-Synth is available in two configurations- rack mount or 76 note keyboard. The keyboard gives you controller functions that make E-Synth a highly sophisticated command center that will be the hub of all your other MIDI gear. The Rack version gives you the ability to add eight additional outputs and customize the features to meet the needs of the most demanding studio environment.

Both E-Synth Rack and Keyboard have an Emulator® 4 sampler inside, which means you simply won't find a better combination of awesome sounds, powerful synthesis, versatile sampling, convenient sequencing and advanced controller features in any other product.

It's a Powerful Synthesizer

At the heart of E-Synth is E-mu's Digital Modular Synthesis (DMS) technology, which provides you with 64-voice polyphony (expandable to 128 voices), 64 digital 6 pole filters, 32-voice layering, 128-voice velocity switching, and easy-to-use patch-cord architexture. The realtime controller section gives you the ultimate in control and flexibility, whether you're in the studio or on stage.

It's a Versatile Sampler

E-Synth is much more than a powerful synth, it's also an E4 class sampler utilizing EOS software. This means you have instant access to any of the thousands of sounds available from E-mu® Sound Central on CD-ROM. You can also import AKAI and Roland sounds. E-Synth comes standard with 4 MB of RAM (expandable to 64 MB), a SCSI interface for connection to a CD-ROM drive or external disk drive, and 2 CD-ROMs loaded woth over 400 MB of sounds, you can capture sounds in stereo, use them in conjunction with the on-board sounds, and re-sample the results to make sounds that are uniquely yours. A full set of editing and DSP tools allows you to sculpt sounds to your liking. You even get a PC/MAC based preset editor by Emagic so you can edit sounds directly from your computer.

It's an Intuitive Workstation

E-Synth contains an easy-to-use, yet powerful 48-track sequencer with loop-record functions (featuring cut, copy, paste, erase, re-channelization, quantize with swing and input quantize, multiple record features, and a very detailed graphical interface). E-Synth makes creating new sequences a breeze. If you use a computer sequencer, the E-Synth can play your sequences back via standard MIDI files as type 0 or type 1 files.

It's an Incredible Controller

As a MIDI keyboard controller, E-Synth is unmatched. Each of E-Synth's 1,256 presets can be split into endless MIDI zones, each with its own key and velocity range. Plus each preset can send a program change, volume command and pan command out on all 16 MIDI channels to your other MIDI devices. Not only is E-Synth a workhorse when it comes to running its own system, but it benefits external MIDI devices as well. Along with its preset controller features, E-Synth offers performance controllers such as an Arpeggiator and instant split and layering capabilities.

Best of all, it's from E-mu!!!

You already know that E-mu has a 25-year history of providing innovative products at affordable prices, and that E-Synth with the features that you need. You should also know that E-Synth can grow as your needs change. You can expand the 64 voices to 128, and add an additional 16 MIDI channels for 32-part multi-timral operation.

E-Synth is an advanced workstation with huge polyphony, high-powered synthesis capabilities, sampler functionality and compatibility, and far-reaching expandability. If you've been looking for ultimate combination of synthesis and sampling in a keyboard workstation, your search is over with E-Synth.
