The i5s is another in Korg's line of 'interactive' keyboards. Features include easy to understand color coded controls, one touch individual functions, built-in speaker systems, AI2 synthesis tone generation system, independent dual multi-effect processors with real time control, 128 programs and 1 drum kit (GM level 1) plus 192 Korg programs and 13 drum kits, and 64 programs plus 2 drum kits in the user area. There are a total of 192 different arrangements, 128 preset, and 64 user.

Additionally the i5s offers automatic accompaniment that starts along with you, interactive composition that automatically adds accompaniment including chords as soon as you play the melody, the ability to save backing sequence data to disk as SMF files, computer interface, and stereo audio input thru the i5s speaker system.
