The MicroWave is a midi module based upon the PPG series of wavetable type synthesizers. Using Dynamic Spectral Wavetable Synthesis, this rack mount 2 space module is 8 voice polyphonic and 8 channel multi-timbral.

Features include

• 2 oscillators per voice with 3 modulations inputs each driving a wavetable memory (4 inputs per oscillator)
• 30 factory wavetables combine to create approximately 2000 different waveforms
• actual analog 4 pole filtering
• 3 envelopes
• 2 LFOs
• Panning
• programmable split / layer / velocity crossfade and velocity switching
• and stereo outputs plus 4 assignable individual outputs.

As with the original PPG Wave instruments, the MicroWave can cascade waveforms allowing tonal colors to change during play.
