The MidiBuddy is a 1 space rack mountable disk based spooling sequencer, programmable patchbay / processor and system exclusive data filer. Designed to be used in conjunction with other midi sequencing systems, the MidiBuddy allows the user to download complete sequences or other midi data directly to disk (all midi channels and data at once).

With a built in RS232 port, the user can also download standard midi files from or transmit midi files to any computer running a terminal communications program. A spooling function allows almost instantaneous playback of data. The midi patching includes 10 inputs and 10 outputs with merging capabilities, midi controller and channel reassign, data filtration, chromatic transposition, and midi delays.

In addition, functions can be accessed via standard midi trigger events (assignable). An optional SCSI option will be available allowing a playback memory capacity of over 6 million notes with a 40 meg hard disk! LIST $995
