Flexibility without sacrificing affordability MIDI Solutions Professional Series products are programmed by MIDI System Exclusive messages, allowing them to offer a wide range of processing options without the need for switches or displays. After programming, products may be inserted wherever required in your MIDI setup. Programmed settings are retained even after power is removed.
No batteries or wall adapters required All MIDI Solutions Professional Series products are MIDI-powered, so no batteries or wall adapters are needed. Just plug a MIDI cable into the MIDI input of the product and it's ready to process MIDI data.
MIDI Solutions Programming Tools for Windows enables settings to be selected from an easy to use graphical interface. The software creates standard MIDI files containing the selected settings. To program the product, simply play the standard MIDI file into the unit using any standard MIDI file player. Programming Tools software is included free of charge with the purchase of MIDI Solutions Processors (except for the M8 and T8). MIDI Solutions Programming Tools software is also available for download free of charge at http://www.midisolutions.com. For users who do not have access to a Windows machine, full instructions on System Exclusive programming are also included.
The MIDI Solutions F8 8-input MIDI Footswitch Controller provides eight 1/4" mono phone jack inputs for connection to footswitches or other momentary contacts which can be used to trigger MIDI events. Triggered events are merged with incoming MIDI data and sent to the MIDI output of the F8. Event types are programmable for each footswitch input and include Note, Controller, Pitch Bend, Program Change, StartlStop, and System Exclusive messages (up to 20 bytes/System Exclusive message). Any two footswitch inputs may be configured to operate as Program Change INCIDEC controls. MIDI Echo and Footswitch Toggle parameters may be selected on/off. The F8 is MIDI-powered and requires no batteries or power supply to operate. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data is passed through it.
The MIDI Solutions P8 8-input MIDI Pedal Controller provides eight 1/4" reo phone jack inputs for connection to pedals or other variable istances which can be used to control the value of selected MIDI parameters in real time. This generated MIDI data is merged with incoming MIDI data and sent to the MIDI output of the P8. The type of MIDI data generated is programmable for each pedal input and includes Controller, Aftertouch, Pitch Bend, and System Exclusive messages (up to 20 bytes/System Exclusive message). MIDI Echo parameter may be selected on/off and Polarity parameters for each input are selectable up/down. The P8 is MIDI-powered and requires no batteries or power supply to operate. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data is passed through it.
The MIDI Solutions R8 8-output MIDI-Controlled Relay Array provides eight 1/4" mono phone jack connections which open or close in response to MIDI events. Event types are programmable and include Note, Controller, Program Change, and System Exclusive messages (up to 20 bytes/System Exclusive message). Fast reed relays are used for a response time of less than 2ms. Relay contacts are rated at 0.5A. The R8 is MIDI-powered and requires no batteries or power supply to operate. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data is passed through it.
The MIDI Solutions M8 8-input MIDI Merger is an 8-in 1-out MIDI Merger. All MIDI messages appearing at any of the eight inputs are merged to the output. All MIDI data types are merged, including System Exclusive and MIDI Time Code. A fast merging algorithm insures that MIDI data is processed with minimal delay. The M8 is MIDI-powered and requires no batteries or power supply to operate. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data is passed through it.
The MIDI Solutions T8 8-output MIDI Thru Box is a 1-in 8-out MIDI Thru Box. All MIDI messages appearing at the input are sent to all eight Thru outputs. Active circuitry cleans up any skewing of MIDI data bits that has occurred at the input, insuring reliable operation in setups that require daisy-chaining or long cable runs. The T8 is MIDI-powered and requires no batteries or power supply to operate. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data is passed through it.
