Another alternate midi controller, the Midivox utilizes a non-acoustic bio- sensor placed around the neck. Vocal folds movements are monitored electronically by small gold foils that line the neck band. Voice pitch and loudness are encoded, and translated into midi note & velocity information.

Other features include selectable chromatic mode for keyboard effects, midi check mode for system setup, and voice gate / loudness gate / voice sync outputs.
