The MPC60 is a creative production tool designed to be the control center of an entire MIDI network. The MPC60 combines the power of a large MIDI sequencer, a professional quality digital drum machine, an impressive 320 character graphic display and intuitive operabng system together in one unit allowing you to easily assemble complex music productions. The sequencer has a large 60,000 note capacity and can be programmed in real time by using the velocity sensitive drum pads on the front panel or external MIDI devices. You can also program and edit complex music passages using'the step input mode and the extensive editing features. Up to 99 sequences can be recorded with up to 99 tracks/sequence allowing large or chestrations to be programmed using just the MPC60. The 40kHz sampling rate, 18kHz bandwidth, and enhanced 12bit format yield stunning audio fidelity. Drum sounds are reproduced with star tling clarity, full frequency response, and extremely low noise. A built-in 32 channel programmable stereo drum mixer with echo send/return and graphic represen tation on the LCD of levels and panning locations adds a tremendous amount of versatility to this already impressive pro duction tool.
