STEVE CHICK RESEARCH For bass players who thought they got left behind in the midi world, Steve Chick Research of Austrailia introduced a bass midi controller.
The PB1 features Harmonic Regenerative Synchronization Effect that keeps pitch bend note to sync with the actual note on the bass. SCR claims a tracking time of 2 milliseconds on all notes and the frets are split on a 45 degree angle.
32 performance patches can be memorized, with the LED display located on the horn of the body. Fashioned to appear as a traditional bass guitar, the PB1 also includes a standard audio output.
