The QUADRASYNTH (S5) is a 76 note velocity, release velocity & pressure sensitive keyboard with 64 voice polyphony. The Quadrasynth and S4 (rack version) feature 16 megabytes of sample ROM, 128 presets & 128 user programs, up to 7 simultaneous effects that can be independently assigned to any of the four effect busses, and a built in multichannel Optical digital interface (ADAT). Each program can contain up to four individual sounds, each with their own set of 3 envelope generators, 3 LFOs, a tracking generator, dynamic low pass filter and a "QS Modulation Matrix". These programs may be routed to any of the four audio outputs. The Mix Mode has an additional 128 preset and 128 user programmable "mixes" that can be used for multi-timbral midi applications.

The S4 QuadraSynth module is a 64 voice rack mount midi sound module featuring built-in parallel matrix digital signal processing and "Composite Synthesis" for subtractive and additive synthesis. Each program can be made up of as many as four individual "sounds" each with their own set of 3 envelope generators, 3 LFOs, a tracking generator, dynamic low pass filter, and a comprehensive modulation matrix. There are 128 preset and 128 user programs in which the user can program up to 7 simultaneous effects which can be assigned to any of four effect busses. In the "Mix Mode" the S4 has an additional 128 preset and 128 user programmable "mixes" for multi-timbral sequencing applications. Programs can be routed to any of the four audio output jacks. In addition, a digital optical output is included for digital audio applications.

S4+ Quadrasynth Module

The Quadrasynth+ Module features 20 megabytes of on-board sample rom, a built-in QS parallel Matrix Effects section for 4 busses of independent programmable stereo multi-effects, PCMCIA card slot for rom expansions or 8 meg of custom user samples via battery backed flash ROM, 64 note polyphony and 16 channel multi-timbral midi operation, 640 programs and 500 multitimbral 'mixes' stored internally (128 programs and 100 combinations user ram), an optical connector for ADAT or compatible recorders, and much more.
