The S-220 is a 16 voice rack mount sampler with up to 8.8 seconds sampling time (15 kHz) and 4.4 seconds at 30 kHz. Four memory banks are provided permitting the storage of up to eight different sampled sounds.

The S-220 is multi-timbral via midi (up to 4 midi channels), has 4 outputs, 2.8" quick disk drive, ability to read and play S-10 sound samples, and auto loop function.
