S3000XL digital sampler

The S3000XL is a 16 bit stereo sampling module that includes a multi-mode for layering and multi-timbral sequencing setups.

Features include:

  • RAM expansion with readily available SIMM memory modules (up to 32 Mbytes maximum)
  • 3.5" DS/HD disk drive
  • 32 note polyphony
  • internal card slots for optional multi-effects card and Flash memory boards (non volatile)
  • SCSI interface
  • Standard Midi File playback capabilities
  • 2 channel direct to disk capabilities
  • sample compatibility with Akai and Emu sound libraries
  • and Akai's M.E.S.A. editing software for Macintosh.

Stock RAM configurations include 2 Mbytes in the S3000XL. The 3000XL and includes 8 individual outputs plus S/PDIF digil I/O, and a second digital filter bank.
