S2800 MSLP - $2995Continuing the S series tradition from the S1100 with 16 bit digital sampling modules. Features common to all include linear 16 bit format, resonant filters, 32 voice polyphony, fifty effects presets grouped into 4 groups (echo, chorus, pitch shift, delay), sample editing and program patch editing, and much more.
The S2800 includes 2 megabytes ram (expandable to 16 megabytes using industry standard SIMMs). The S3000 also features 8 megabytes ram (expandable to 32 megabytes), 8 individual polyphonic outputs, SCSI port for storage, and AES/EBU digital I/O. The S3200 has all the features of the S3000, but in addition includes SMPTE generator / reader, direct to disk recording (2 tracks), and a bay for an internal 3.5" MO (Magneto Optical drive).
