The SK series are combination keyboards with synth, organ, and string sections. Features include:

ORGAN SECTION - The SK series organ sections feature a full range of stop levers from 1' to 16', percussion levers with adjustable decay, and controls for overall sustain, brilliance and decay. The percussion, sustain, brilliance and decay controls affect the organ preset sounds as well as the Manual organ section.

POLY-SYNTHISTRING SECTION The poly-synth section offers a full complement of filter and envelope generator controls permitting creation of an unlimited variety of sounds. The poly-synth is a 7-note polyphonic synthesizer with complete control of pitch, filter cutoff and resonance, envelope generator depth, and a full ADSR generator. Also, sustain, slow attack and brilliance functions are provided which affect the string and poly-synth presets as well as the Manual sound.

BASS SECTION This section, unique to the SK50D. provides an independent set of tone generators and controls for a deep, rich organ bass sound. Included are 16', 8' and ATTACK 8' stop levers, as well as sustain and brilliance controls. The organ bass sound is controlled from either the "Manual Bass" section (1-2 octaves) of the lower keyboard or the optional bass pedal unit (BP2).

SOLO SYNTHESIZER SECTION The solo synthesizer section offered in the SK50D and SK30 features a single voltage controlled oscillator and permits full control of pitch, waveform, filter, volume, envelope generator and portamento functions. In addition, the keyboard after-touch response gives the player the capability to add vibrato, tremolo, and brilliance changes according to the pressure he applies to the keys. These features make the single note solo synthesizer ideal for lead lines- particularly when played simultaneously with the organ, poly synth or string sections.

TREMOLO & ENSEMBLE CONTROLS - The tremolo control adds a realistic rotating speaker effect to the organ and poly synth string sounds. The Tremolo Speed control causes a gradual change in the speed of the tremolo effect-slow to fast or vice versa-just like a mechani cal rotating speaker. Ensemble can be added to the organ and poly synthlstring sounds for a rich, chorus like effect. The SK series keyboards even offer a rear-panel connector for direct connection to a real rotat ing speaker, with rotation speed controllable from the front panel Tremolo Speed button.

VIBRATO SECTION These controls add vibrato to the organ and poly-synth string sounds in the SK20, and to the poly synth string sounds in the SK30 and SK50D. Overall vibrato speed is adjusted by the Speed control, and a Delay control lets you adjust the time it takes for the vibrato to reach full depth (a function of the Depth control) once a key is depressed.

OUTPUT SECTION the output section features a master Volume control that sets the overall level of the rear panel mixed and headphone outputs. Independent level controls are also provided which function as a mixer that lets you combine the outputs from each section at any desired level. A line out switch turns the mixed output on or off, permitting the output signal to be sent only to the headphone jack for private tuning (using the pitch controls) or practice.

SPLIT KEYBOARD FUNCTIONS The SK30 and SK20 permit the keyboard to be "split" in two different modes: organ on all keys above the split marker (between F # and G) and poly synth strings below the split marker, or poly synth strings on the upper keyboard section and organ on the lower keys. This unique split keyboard, which allows seven notes to be played on either side of the split, gives you vast capability for creating upper and lower keyboard tonal combinations that are ideal for your playing style and music.

INSTANT PRESET SELECTION The lower section of the SK key board control panels feature push buttons for instantaneous selection of organ, poly-synth and string preset sounds, and the organ and poly-synth preset modes. On the SK30 and SK50D, Cancel buttons are also provided for quick sound changes without disturbing the "mix" set up by the output section level controls.
