SP100 |
THE
PORTABLE WEIGHTED-ACTION ANSWER.
Weighing in at just over 40lbs., the new Korg SP-100 is a truly portable answer for musicians who crave the feel of a weighted action keyboard but don't want to have to deal with the sometimes difficult logistics of hefting one around. Great for gigging musicians, students and anyone with a penchant for true piano feel, the SP-100's 88-note hammer action keyboard is velocity sensitive with three selections for touch control - light, standard and heavy. This allows each performer to tailor the SP-100's feel to his or her preferences.
TRUE PIANO SOUND
Of course, the SP-100 isn't just about great piano feel, it comes with the superbly sampled stereo piano sound that Korg is famous for, generated by our widely acclaimed AI Synthesis System. Plus, we've included additional sounds like Electric Piano, Harpsichord, Vibraphone, Organ and Strings, for even more sonic versatility. And you can layer two sounds together and play them at the same time, like Piano and Strings for example, for even more sound options. This compact Stage Piano also includes both Reverb and Chorus effects for adding presence and vitality to your sound.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
A great instrument for practice, the SP-100 includes a built-in metronome for essential rhythm training. Plus, its single-track recorder provides the opportunity for you to record and critique your own performance for immediate feedback.
YOU'RE IN CONTROL
The SP-100 is so easy to use - with the most-important functions used available as switches on the front panel. Other utility functions are also easily accessible by pressing the FUNCTION key and a key on the piano keyboard. With a variety of essential connectors - like Output, MIDI IN and OUT, Headphones and Damper - the SP-100 allows you to control and utilize your sound even further.
PROFESSIONAL EXTRAS
The SP-100 comes with a damper switch, so that you can add sustain to your performance, and a detachable music stand. We've also loaded in six specially composed demo songs, so you can experience the SP-100's full sonic potential.
