The TX16W is a 12 bit rack mount stereo/mono sampling module that marks YamahaUs first step into sampling synthesizers.

• 40 character 2 line backlit LCD
• and 3.5" disk drive.

A serial port was noted on the back of the unit possibly allowing high speed transfer of sample data between the TX16W and external storage devices.
