Does size matter today?

For us, it does. When we developed the Virus Rack, we attached a high importance in maintaining the same ease of use as we did with the Virus b. Our highest goal has been to create a musical instrument which brings together the excellent user interface of the Virus series, with the compactness and excellent value for money of a rack device.

What does that mean to you?
Basically, you won’t need to stick with the 512 preset sounds just because you detest studying user manuals.
With only two buttons and five rotary encoders, you will be able to directly access 35 key parameters, without looking at the display or getting lost in submenus.* Furthermore we include a cost free Editor/Librarian (based on the award winning Emagic Sounddiver™) for direct on-screen access to all parameters.
Are you a guitar player or a DJ? Do you need to bring your sound to the next level? It’s so easy, simply use the audio input on the front panel to manipulate your favourite sonic source using the complete synthesis of the Virus Rack. If you love to filter and vocode, or if you’re in need of a multi effect processor, we give this to you as a free addition to the legendary Virus engine. It even offers advanced features such as the brand new Reverb algorithm and the Groove-Delay.
